I’m so in love with this word of the year tshirt! My friend Michelle designed it. Check out her Etsy shop Cup of Tee. She makes all kinds of amazing graphic tees. I’m going to tell you more about Michelle in a minute. First, I want to talk about what the shirt says – FORWARD – and why it’s important.
FORWARD Word of the Year Free Tshirt
Welcome if you’re new! The last few years have been especially rough for me. It all came to an end in 2018 – right after my 40th birthday. My child was in crisis and spent weeks in the hospital. I realized my marriage was an unhappy unhealthy mess that wasn’t good for me or my child. I packed up and left not long after she was released from the hospital. I realized I’ve made my whole life about other people and that actually wasn’t good for any of us.
I’ve spent the last year seriously working on figuring out who I am, processing my baggage and thinking about what I want life to look like. It’s still in progress and will be for a long time.
But I’m moving FORWARD.
So that’s what I chose for my word to focus on in 2019 and what is printed on these cool Rambling Rach tshirts.

About Michelle
Michelle and I have been friends since high school. My friends have been a huge part of the progress I’ve made in the last year. They held me together until I was able to start taking steps on my own again. They swooped me up, held me close and cocooned me in love. I am so thankful.
Michelle offered to drop everything on her own birthday to drive two hours to be with me when my daughter was rushed to the hospital. She checked on me multiple times a day during the weeks in the hospital. She continues to check in on me daily. We daydream and procrastinate together, often over coffee. We once tried to figure out the plot of an…ahem….adult film a guy friend told me about while eating peanut butter toast topped with chocolate sprinkles she brought back from her European honeymoon.
I’m so glad I have people in my life from childhood. My world is better because of Michelle. She’s also very crafty. I’m in love with sparkly pink letters on this tshirt! Contact her through Cup of Tee if you’d like something special made.
