What to look for in kitchen gadgets:

Multi-function:

The number one secret is stocking up on kitchen gadgets that can do more than one thing.  Why have two or three (or five) items when one can handle multiple jobs?! For example, the Instant Pot is more than a pressure cooker. It’s also a soup pot, sautes, makes pasta, rice cooker, yogurt maker, crockpot and more.  It can even make a cheesecake!  

Easiness:

Kitchen gadgets should make your life easier.  If they don’t, they need to GO! They should be easy to:

• Use:  You shouldn’t need an advanced engineering degree just to figure out how to operate or set it up  No one has time for that!
• Store:  If you have to haul it out from the bottom of a cupboard, you aren’t going to use it much.  Go for things that can be stored front and center in your pantry or right on your counter.
• Clean:  It shouldn’t take longer to clean it then it took to use it.
