I’ve been trying to make healthier food choices. Going to the store to stock up on good-for-me snacks is hard sometimes, though. They have so much that ISN’T good for me there, tempting me with every step!
Does that ever happen to you? You want some turkey from the deli to make low-carb rollups for snacks, but to get to the deli you have to walk through the bakery, where cupcakes, muffins, whole cakes, pies and more call your name. If you make it all the way to the checkout with just your fruits, veggies and other healthy finds, you still have to battle the chips, soda and candy bars in the aisle while you wait.
So I like to order nonperishable items online! I have Amazon Prime, which means fast, free delivery without having to battle grocery store temptations in the snack aisles! Click below for a free trial!
Here are my picks for the best healthy snacks from Amazon.

Crunchy and flavorful! Parmesan crisps are made of just cheese! SOOO good paired with grapes and olives.
Turmeric is widely used in Indian food – it’s what gives curry the beautiful golden color. Studies show the spice may be beneficial to health in a variety of ways including improving cholesterol and reducing inflammation.
I like sipping flavorful hot beverages to chase away the urge to mindlessly munch. If I can take in the benefits of turmeric while I’m at it – even better!
Daily Turmeric Nutrient Booster Powder is so comforting stirred into milk! Try a cup of milk, a teaspoon of the turmeric powder, a teaspoon of honey, a pinch of black pepper and a dash of cinnamon. Heat it up and yum!
I also love sipping on turmeric tea!
The lemon bar is my favorite by far! They come in a whole bunch of fruit and nut flavors. These bars are made up of dates, nuts and dried fruits. That’s all.
Shelf stable hummus is great to toss in your bag with some carrot sticks, mini whole wheat pitas or pretzel chips. I usually hate edamame, but love edamame hummus. Proof that it’s good to try new things even if you’re skeptical!
I’m allergic to mango. My daughter LOVES mango. I order Peeled dried mango for her because it has no added ingredients and gives her the flavor she loves in a way that keeps it contained so I don’t have a reaction. I toss a bag in her school or camp bag and she munches on it all week. Peeled has several other varieties of dried fruit. They are delicious!
Protein, fiber and healthy ingredients that taste indulgent. Kind Bars taste like a treat, but you can feel good about eating them!
Dark chocolate is practically medicine, right? Mint dark chocolate gives the satisfaction of a Thin Mint during Girl Scout Cookie Season.
Crunchy, salty, a tiny bit sweet – plantain chips are great alone or with dips!
Nuts have healthy fats, fiber and protein, but it’s easy to get carried away and eat too much of a good thing! That’s why I go with single serving nut packets!
My daughter loves snacking on tuna. Tuna salad kits have a packet of mayo, a packet of relish, a few crackers and even a breath mint!
Fiber One Brownies
While they aren’t exactly as healthy as a whole food like fruit or nuts, Fiber One brownies are super yummy heated in the microwave when you want something gooey and delicious NOW without a ton of calories.
Pickles in a pouch are great for taking with you! The pouch contains the juice and distinct aroma until you are ready to munch.
There’s no need to rely on vending machine chips for a snack. You can even take olives with you!
