I’ve been stressed out and my body has been hit hard. My world was turned upside down two years ago. My teenage daughter almost died and I left a nearly 20-year toxic marriage weeks after she was released from the hospital. I’ve been through a divorce, multiple moves, a second teenager moving on, getting both girls off to college and becoming an empty nester. Now it’s time to focus on me and reclaim my health.

I get especially snacky at nighttime while watching TV home alone or after coming in from a cocktail with a friend. I also tend to eat yummy leftovers, sweets and chips in the morning when I wake up. It turns out many people have cravings at these times and this plan is designed to work with it instead of against it. “The most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. By following the Always Eat After 7PM program, you have the most willpower to stay on the diet because you are eating during the hours when you are most hungry. This also puts you into both intermittent fasting increasing testosterone and your metabolism, while putting you into ketosis.”

Yes, I want to lose weight, but I love myself in the body I’m in.  In fact, I love myself in this body so much you can find lingerie shots all over my Instagram @rambling.rach! BUT the way I’ve been treating my body isn’t healthy. I’ll be focusing on nourishing and being kind to my body so I feel better longterm. I’m looking forward to getting my blood sugar under control, reducing “bad” cholesterol and raising “good” cholesterol and lowering my blood pressure. I’m also very excited about better sleep and less pain.
