Sweet and Savory Cornbread Muffins featuring Al Fresco chicken products
These cornbread muffins are the perfect mix of savory and sweet.
Ingredients
- 2 slices Al Fresco chicken bacon chopped
- 1 Al Fresco sweet apple chicken sausage casing removed, diced
- 1/2 cup sliced green onion
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 box cornbread mix or your favorite recipe, batter prepared according to directions on box/recipe
- Dash of black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare cornbread batter according to box or recipe directions.
- Stir in bacon, sausage, onion, cheese and pepper.
- Spoon into a muffin pan.
- Bake according to package directions.
